Organized campaigns to remove informal settlements have begun, which have previously led to the displacement of large numbers of citizens and the loss of their homes and safe shelter in neighborhoods of Bahri, in Khartoum State.

We call on the security authorities to immediately halt these practices, ensure compensation for those affected, provide alternative shelter, and initiate a transparent and independent investigation to hold those responsible for these violations accountable.
